How to Be A Rapper 101
Headgear
No matter what you wear, the rapper look is never complete without headgear of some sort. A popular choice is the full cap with a straight shade; worn tilted. Other alternatives are bandanas (known to some as a flag), du-rags or beanies. Mix and match stated headgear for a true 'gangsta' look.
Headgear history
Bandanas can be worn in different styles on your head,mouth area and neck. Popular with street gangs,most of them wear a bandana with the triangle tip to the front,or around thier mouths.Bandanas are restricted in some schools in the US because it is a symbol of gangsterism.
Blood or Crip?
A flag is a bandana worn out the left back pocket, it is a commonly used form of gang identification.
Clothing
This part is simple. A big plain white t-shirt (Otherwise known as a crisp tee) and big baggy jeans.
Shoes
Like rims to a ride, shoes are the defining point in the rapper get-up. Slip on a pair of clean white Nike AF1's or basically any balling shoe and you're good to go.

You need bling, somehow. Whether its in your teeth,round your neck or on your wrist, it doesnt matter - as long as it shines like a diamond in the sun. The bigger the better. 
Armed with the above, you now need some street know-how before you can truely pass off as a rapper. This is pretty simple too.
Join a gang.
There are two major gangs - the bloods and the crips. A crip is known as a 'cuz' and a blood is well, a blood. Red is the colour for bloods, and blue for the crips. 
Pledge your allegiance to either one.
Go to jail.
Popular choices are for drug dealing and homicide, shouldnt be too difficult.
OPTIONAL : Get shot.
Getting shot and surviving seriously raises your 'street-cred'; increasing 'street-cred' and number of shots taken is directly proportional.
Misc
It also helps if you hate your whole family and had a lousy childhood where you were exposed to the harshness of life, this will give you that extra 'inspiration' when you write your rap songs.
